Where To Find All Capsule Machines In P5X
In real life Japan, there are a massive variety of gacha machines, including capsule types, and much like real life, Persona 5: The Phantom X includes its own set of capsule machines you can try your luck at. They won't be giving you characters or weapons you can use though.

Instead, the Capsule Machines give out small collectible figures that you can decorate the character's display case at their home with. There are several sets to collect, from cute capybaras to renditions of Japanese yokai, and if you go the extra mile to complete each set, you might find yourself with a reward or two.
Capsule Machines in The Phantom X are machines where you can spend Money to obtain between one and five gacha capsules, which contain collectible items of different rarities and come from several available collection sets.
You can start getting collectibles as soon as you progress through the main story enough to unlock being able to freely explore areas of Tokyo, but actually to start placing them, you need to complete the tutorial quest Capsule Machine Fun in Shibuya Station Square.
Capsule Machine Fun unlocks right after you first use a Capsule Machine and get any one collectible from them, and requires minimal story progression to unlock.
This quest has you speaking to Shichi-kun, the dog mascot on the street, and after a quick conversation, it will unlock the Display Case for your house, and you can go home and start displaying them in sets.
Besides being able to display them, you can also get rewards for collecting them. Upon getting 100 percent of a collection, you'll get Meta Jewels and a Display Case Background based on the completed collection.
Each Collection has between six and eight figures spread across three rarities: four Common, one Rare, and one Super Rare, and collecting them counts towards the larger Collection level.
